Here are answers to some of the questions I hear most often about appointments, pricing, insurance, and what to expect when working with me. If you don't see your question here, feel free to reach out.

I am a private-pay, out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill after each session — a detailed receipt with the necessary billing codes — that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Coverage varies by plan, so I recommend checking with your provider about your out-of-network physical therapy benefits.

I offer both in-home visits throughout Westchester County and in-person sessions at Kathy Joyce Fitness in Pleasantville, NY. Virtual sessions are also available upon request and based on availability.

In New York, you can be seen for PT without a physician referral for the first 10 visits or 30 days, whichever comes first. After that, a referral is required to continue skilled PT treatment.

Your first session starts with a comprehensive movement evaluation — I look at posture, mobility, strength, and movement patterns to understand how your body is functioning. We also talk through your history, current challenges, and goals so I can identify the root cause of what's going on, not just the symptom.

It depends on your condition, goals, and progress. After your initial evaluation I'll give you a clear picture of what a realistic plan looks like for you.

Wear comfortable, moveable clothing. No special equipment needed — I bring everything required for treatment.
