Hi, I'm Stefanie
your PT. Your Goals. Your Pace.
Doctor of Physical Therapy based in Westchester County.
I work with a wide range of people — from those recovering from back fusions, post-surgical rehab, or cardiac rehab, to people battling chronic pain, acute injuries, or just trying to get stronger after a rough stretch. Whether you can lift 100 lbs or 5 lbs, I meet you where you are and get you to where you want to be.
WHAT I LOOK FOR
Sometimes the thing holding you back isn't where you think it is.
A big part of what I do is figuring out what's been missed — the weakness, the compensation pattern, or the thing nobody has addressed — and building from there.
Maybe that's getting you back on the pickleball court.
Keeping up with your grandkids.
Returning to your favorite fitness class without pain.
Or simply moving through your day with more ease.
MY BACKGROUND
I hold a BS in Exercise Science from SUNY Cortland, an MS in Exercise Science from LIU Brooklyn, and my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University.
I'm also a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, with additional certifications in Cupping Therapy, Graston Technique, and Corrective Exercise specifically for Pregnancy and Postpartum.
My background spans orthopedics, sports rehab, pediatrics, skilled nursing, and acute rehab.
HOW I WORK
Your treatment should make sense for you — not just your diagnosis.
LISTEN
I start with what's bothering you, what you've tried, and what you actually want to get back to doing.
UNDERSTAND
I look beyond the painful area to understand the movement, strength, mobility, and other factors that may be contributing.
Ready to move forward?
BUILD
From there, I build a plan around you — combining exercise, hands-on care, and progression to help you move forward.
